Home Owners Across the Nation Sue All Bank Servicers and Their Offshore Havens; Spire Law Officially Announces Filing of Landmark Lawsuit Largest International Money Laundering Network in History Formed During Obama Administration; U.S. Banks’ Theft of Home Owners’ Money Laundered Through Cayman Islands, Isle of Man and Numerous Offshore-Based Affiliates

NEW YORK, NY, Apr 23, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) — In a lawsuit alleged to involve the largest money laundering network in United States history, Spire Law Group, LLP — on behalf of home owners across the Country — has filed a mass tort action in the Supreme Court of New York, County of Kings. Home owners across the country have sued every major bank servicer and their subsidiaries — formed in countries known as havens for money laundering such as the Cayman Islands, the Isle of Man, Luxembourg and Malaysia — alleging that while the Obama Administration was publicly encouraging loan modifications for home owners, it was privately ratifying the formation of these shell companies in violation of the United States Patriot Act, and State and Federal law. The case further alleges that through these obscure foreign companies, Bank of America, J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo Bank, Citibank, Citigroup, One West Bank, and numerous other federally chartered banks stole hundreds of millions of dollars of home owners’ money during the last decade and then laundered it through offshore companies. The complaint, Index No. 500827, was filed by Spire Law Group, LLP, and several of the Firm’s affiliates and partners across the United States.

Far from being ambiguous, this is a complaint that “names names.” Indeed, the lawsuit identifies specific companies and the offshore countries used in this enormous money laundering scheme. Federally Chartered Banks’ theft of money and their utilization of offshore tax haven subsidiaries represent potential FDIC violations, violations of New York law, and countless other legal wrongdoings under state and federal law.

formed in countries known as havens for money laundering such as the Cayman Islands, the Isle of Man, Luxembourg and Malaysia —

Don’t shoot the messenger. I can’t comment on the truth of the above allegations. The question is: Are we a country known for money laundering? We continue to jump through hoops and still the allegations fly. When are we going to successfully put a stop to these slurs? Shouldn’t we be taking action if this allegation is not true?

And what is central to most of our woes? The money system and usury.  Roger Hayes is returning to the island and will be giving a presentation about the Lawful Bank. There’s no point in dwelling on the problems that face us. We need solutions and if we are unhappy with the present system then why not create the money system designed to suit our needs instead of those of the banksters? Roger presents a course of action that is open to every single one of us.

You have reservations? You prefer to stick with the failing system we have?  That’s fine. For those who are open to alternatives and a chance to turn our lives around Roger will be at:

Apparently, I’m not alone in finding the offerings of the local press less than interesting. Johnston Press has made major losses and they claim that the local pruning measures are a necessity as a result of their present financial situation. Are we sacrificing Isle of Man staff to support the company as a whole? Is the Isle of Man branch in an equally poor position?

Does it matter? The fact is that readers don’t seem to be happy with what’s on offer. Why don’t JP heed the advice? Real news – cut the colour supplement stuff. Does the local press excel on any level? No problem. There are alternative news sources. 🙂

Despite the fact that it is becoming more than obvious that the CO2 story has been miscalculated and milked (see previous posts) they still want to spy on us to hunt down Carbon Criminals. Is this making any sense to you?

New Big Brother Satellite to “Hunt Down” Carbon Criminals The European Space Agency is set to green light a new surveillance satellite that will measure man-made carbon emissions from space in order to “hunt down” violators of international climate agreements, allowing Big Brother to enforce a future tax on CO2 emissions.

Labeled CarbonSat, the satellite system will have the ability to differentiate between natural carbon emissions and man-made CO2 releases. Earlier this month, the ESA announced that it had contracted space company Astrium to develop the satellite, which will be ready for deployment by 2017.

The Astrium press release announcing the project makes no mention of the fact that the satellite will be used to perform surveillance on individuals and businesses to keep tabs on their carbon footprint, instead presenting its role as merely measuring carbon emissions.

However, an interview with Astrium President Evert Dudok carried by a German climate alarmist website makes it clear that the technology will be used to spy on human activity from space and impose penalties for non-compliance with United Nations environmental treaties and regulations

Environmental scientist James Lovelock, renowned for his terrifying predictions of climate change’s deadly impact on the planet, has gone back on his previous claims, admitting they were ‘alarmist’.

The 92-year-old Briton, who also developed the Gaia theory of the Earth as a single organism, has said climate change is still happening – just not as quickly as he once warned.

He added that other environmental commentators, such as former vice president Al Gore, are also guilty of exaggerating

This has to be true. It’s covered by the conventional  media:)

Lovelock goes on to say that he made a mistake and that the alarmist predictions being peddled a few years ago just haven’t become reality. Well done JL for admitting the mistake. Unfortunately, this message probably won’t receive the same prominence that the original wrong message did.

In the meantime schoolchildren have been indoctrinated (and in some cases scared witless) with hypothetical scenes of waterlogged cities and climate catastrophe. Time to steer an even keel and tell the other side of the story at last? Let’s hope so. Friends tell me that climate hypotheses are included in local school curriculum also.

Why on earth was this story given such ridiculous prominence and how did it filter through to so many different countries? Do you know what your children are learning and whether hypotheses are being presented as fact?

UN Seeks New Powers to Remake World at Rio Sustainability Summit

The United Nations plans to use its upcoming UN Conference on “Sustainable Development” (UN CSD or Rio+20) in Rio de Janeiro to amass a vast array of unprecedented new powers and literally re-shape civilization, the global economy, and even peoples’ thoughts, according to official documents. All of it will be done in the name of transitioning toward a so-called “green economy.”

Among the new authorities being sought by the world body are global carbon taxes, wealth redistribution amounting to trillions of dollars per year, and a barrage of programs dealing with everything from poverty and education to health and resource allocation. Virtually no realm of human activity will be unaffected by the scheme, which analysts have described as a “mammoth exercise in global social engineering.”

The global transformation agenda was laid out in a recently published report entitled “Working towards a Balanced and Inclusive Green Economy: A United Nations System-wide Perspective.” The document — prepared by a group of more than 35 UN agencies and assorted international institutions under the banner of the UN “Environmental Management Group” (UNEMG) — explains the goals of the global body’s upcoming “sustainability” summit. The conference marks the 20th anniversary of the 1992 UN Earth Summit that adopted the highly controversial “Agenda 21.”

manxasthehills: This is what Rio and Agenda 21 are really about. Apparently, someone wants it because the Isle of Man is signing up to it. Did they spell it out? Did they ask us how green we wish to be? Did they tell us what we are really getting into? Did they even hold a vaguely-worded consultation on this? Rio is about collectivism. Marxist-inspired. Enjoy.

Have you read the Planning and the Economy Consultation document? Even to a layperson such as myself it appears to be very poorly drafted. It contains too many ambiguous statements and little real detail. It was, therefore, pleasing to read the response from The Committee of the Isle of Man Natural History and Antiquarian Society in The Examiner.

They point out that the phrase ‘social and environmental sustainability’ is unclear and go on to query how the quality of a design is to be measured. Furthermore, there are no references to protection of the countryside and natural environment etc. The society also query the housing of ‘high net-worth individuals.’ And so on.

The impression is that it’s carte blanche for any form of development, with few quantifiable controls. How do we weigh up supposed economic benefits against countryside desecration?

It’s doubtful that this is the brainchild of any DED members. It appears to be another copy and paste job. They are so predictable. https://freeasthysweetmountainair.wordpress.com/2012/03/28/uk-law-automatically-adopted-in-the-iom/

It seems to me that the property guide in this week’s paper contains absolutely no references to homeless billionaires on a hopelessly futile search for suitable dwellings. Where are the facts and figures? You don’t suppose certain building companies might benefit from this do you? We have our Heritage to consider after all.

A seventeen year old who bear-hugged his friend to prevent his being restrained by police was PAVA sprayed. He was warned not to hamper police in their duty and then subjected to PAVA. I’m not hearing phrases like ‘used threatening behaviour’, ‘was abusive to police and bystanders,’ ‘out of control’ etc. To the reader it seems that this lad had a few drinks and tried to protect his friend by bear-hugging him in an attempt to prevent the police from accessing his mate.

When you’ve been around the block a few times you ask yourself how this situation would have been dealt with before the advent of PAVA? These kind of things have been going on for years – although the culprits didn’t always use such docile methods. Was it so difficult to end a protective embrace?

Is this an overreaction on the part of the police? If so  – why? Have they taken part in training sessions more geared to inner-city unrest than a ‘low crime-rate’ safe jurisdiction ? Does NLP or CP play any part in their training?…….

It seems that some hope to make feeble excuses for the UN’s catastrophically wrong prediction of 50,000,000 climate refugees by 2010.  So just to clarify things a little further: Not only did they get it wrong – they also tried to disappear the statement – without success:

Thanks to www.dailycaller.com for the following:

Oh boy, government idiocy at its finest. Not only is the original claim bogus, the attempts to disappear it are hilariously inept. Apparently, they’ve never heard of Google Cache at the UN. Rather than simply saying “we were wrong,” they’ve now brought even more distrust onto the UN.

Back on April 11th, Gavin Atkins of Asian Correspondent asked this simple question: What happened to the climate refugees?

It is a valid question, and he backs it up with census numbers. Here’s the first part of his story.

In 2005, the United Nations Environment Programme predicted that climate change would create 50 million climate refugees by 2010. These people, it was said, would flee a range of disasters including sea level rise, increases in the numbers and severity of hurricanes, and disruption to food production.

The UNEP even provided a handy map. The map shows us the places most at risk including the very sensitive low lying islands of the Pacific and Caribbean.

It so happens that just a few of these islands and other places most at risk have since had censuses, so it should be possible for us now to get some idea of the devastating impact climate change is having on their populations. Let’s have a look at the evidence:

Nassau, The Bahamas — The 2010 national statistics recorded that the population growth increased to 353,658 persons in The Bahamas.  The population change figure increased by 50,047 persons during the last 10 years.

St Lucia:

The island-nation of Saint Lucia recorded an overall household population increase of 5 percent from May 2001 to May 2010 based on estimates derived from a complete enumeration of the population of Saint Lucia during the conduct of the recently completed 2010 Population and Housing Census.

Population 2002, 81755

Population 2010, 88311

Solomon Islands:

The latest Solomon Islands population has surpassed half a million – that’s according to the latest census results.

It’s been a decade since the last census report, and in that time the population has leaped 100,000.

After Asian Correspondent posted the story on April 11th, it was picked up by news outlets around the world, such as Investor News and American Spectator, and was referred to in yesterday’s Australian newspaper and even got a mention on Fox News.

Since that story appeared, the “handy map” Atkins cites in his original story seems to be gone down the memory hole. This is what you get now; note my yellow highlight: (manxasthehills: please follow the link http://dailycaller.com/2011/04/16/the-un-disappears-50-million-climate-refugees-then-botches-the-cover-up/ )

Only one small problem there, UN people: a little annoyance called Google Cache, which has that page archived here.

Google Cache pulls up the page that had been removed, with the “50 million refugees” title, but the map is missing.

Fear not, dear readers, because as astoundingly smart as those UN people think they are, they forgot one very important yet tiny detail. The map links to a hi-resolution version of the “climate refugee map,” and if you delete the page above and the map it contains, you also have to delete the hi-res image it links to.

I’m always happy to help the UN in times of “need,” so I’ve recovered it and saved it, because that image link is likely to go down the memory hole on Monday.

Here’s the map at web resolution as it would have appeared in the disappeared web page above. (Please follow link – manxasthehills) http://dailycaller.com/2011/04/16/the-un-disappears-50-million-climate-refugees-then-botches-the-cover-up/

And here it is in full-sized hi-resolution glory, suitable for printing, slides, or coffee mugs…wherever it might be appropriate to show the folly of these boneheads.

This is what the UNEP web page originally said:

Fifty million climate refugees by 2010. Today we find a world of asymmetric development, unsustainable natural resource use, and continued rural and urban poverty. There is general agreement about the current global environmental and development crisis. It is also known that the consequences of these global changes have the most devastating impacts on the poorest, who historically have had limited entitlements and opportunities for growth.

And there you have it, folks, another bogus climate claim rubbished by reality, followed by an inept cover-up attempt.

Thanks to the reality of census numbers, followed by the UN’s handling of this, we can now safely say that the claim of “climate refugees” is total fantasy. Be sure to leave comments on any website that makes this claim, and link to this and the Asian Correspondent website.

Kudos to Gavin Atkins for asking this simple question after six years of this fantasy being used to push an agenda.

Update 1: The American Association for the Advancement of Science now says that there will be 50 million climate change refugees by 2020.

Update 2: Another blogger, following the lead by Gavin Atkins, Mr. Aaron Worthing at Patterico’s Pontifications, was the first to note the 404 error on the UNEP website, but he did not recover the hi-resolution map shown in this story.

Anthony Watts operates the most visited blog on climate science in the world, www.wattsupwiththat.com.

Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly attributed a recent estimate that there will be 50 million climate change refugees by 2020 to the UN. In fact, that prediction was made by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, though the original prediction that there would be 50 million climate change refugees by 2010 was in fact made by the UN.

Comment: Manxasthehills:

Brilliant stuff. Well done.  And for those who prefer to hear this from more than one source:

UN Embarrassed by Forecast on Climate Refugees

Just goes to show – not only extraordinarily wrong but also devious.

Never mind guys. Good try – but not good enough.

PS These inaccurate stats and hopelessly wrong predictions are used to influence government policy worldwide.
