Bliss. Am just having a break from TT in a country I once considered to be quite restrictive and controlling. It seems that the Isle of Man has long caught up and taken over the lead. Not a CCTV camera in sight. Hence there is also a lack of notices displayed at every few metres effectively telling us that we are all under suspicion. There is a feeling of freedom in the air that the Isle of Man hasn’t experienced for years.
The police state is being rolled out and few seem interested in stopping things. Because it makes them feel safe? Really? And how safe are the roads right now?
Enjoy the fest. Take care. It’s real danger we need to watch out for – not hypothetical risks.
